May this inspire you to go out and spend some time under the stars.
Shutter 25 seconds [should have done 20🤷♂️]
The rauk fields of Gotland at night!
Some say these are petrified trolls, who knows? Some of these figures and silhouettes definitely look like they could be!😏✌️
big thanks @r0mat for showing me around and running around with the lights!😂✌️

#milkywaymonday - Not every day goes as planned. Here’s a picture of a ditch from night 11 of the Great Milky Way Chase.

Mallorca has a lot of beautiful lighthouses. This one is in the south of the island. Here you still have some nice dark spots to see and photograph the milky way. With @photopills i calculated that the Milky Way was in perfect line with the lighthouse.
When I arrived at the location there was a small problem. The light from the lighthouse was to bright for a long exposure. When the light hit the camera once, it was perfect. It did every 7 seconds, so I could make an exposure of 13 seconds. Still get it? ;) I’m quite happy with the result! What do you guys think of this one? (Full version on my facebookpage)

Happy World Photography Day!
On this day, sharing a photo that features two of my favourites: Beach & The Milky Way. :)
Canon 6D Mark II, Sigma 20mm 1.4 at f/1.4, 10 sec exposure for the Milky Way. Blended with a quicker shot for the foreground.
