Curlew Daily - No. 23 - And Thou Floors Shall be Laminate.
I’m still processing my thoughts around this daily, linked in our profile, but wanted to get a few words down about 68 Jay Street.
I feel lucky to work out of the building, and this evening am feeling a deep gratitude for the friendships and partnerships that I’ve made while building a business in Dumbo.
Having worked there since 2015, the building and the neighborhood are both places that have real meaning for me, and which I do not take for granted.
The “laminate” refers to changes afoot within 68 Jay Street, and how the changes mirror changes that I’ve seen and have felt in this city; how they’re often called in from upon high, and are made for reasons that I cannot discern or make sense of.
