Fished some new coves and little islands yesterday and had what I like to call a “charter day”. Over 20 smaller snook, some slot snook, reds, trout, and a even a few mangos 👌🏼🎣 (excuse the water on the camera 🤦🏻♂️, didn’t realize until after 😑) .
The bite is on in the bay! 🔥🎣
My husband and I were invited to join @honeyislandkayak this past Saturday for a 3 hour trip. Our tour guide, Jessica Gauley, was extremely knowledgable about the area. The views were breathtaking, and the best part is that a kayak tour is an environmentally-friendly method of seeing the bayou 🐊 We were able to take our time and enjoy the scenery around us up close. If you need a day out on the water or if you have friends or family visiting who want a unique experience, this is for you! 🚣♀️
I love I get my exercise at the lake! I do whatever it takes to get outside at least for 30 mins a day to walk, paddle, move rocks, anything that keeps my body active. Practice small things daily until they become a habit, I know Pullo my dog would love for THIS to become a habit. He climbed by himself onto the front of my kayak and balanced or sat out there for about a third of the lake, this was SO FUN and I could hear comments from folks around me watching him 🐶😁🥰 so fun and getting sun and body movement at the same time! Make your life fun, you are only in this body once! #katsoutofthebag#lakelife#lakedog#waterbaby#mermaid#outdoorgirl#kayaking#kayaklife#lake#balancingact#sundayfunday#puggle#fun#playday#sunny
@d.dworkis I know you said you want to do some more kayak fishing...how about we up our game to this level!
@rokkitkit your brain must be firing at full force trying to balance, tame the fish, and get the shot. Mad respect!
