Good afternoon everyone!!! Hope everyone is having a glorious day! I always look at Monday as the day for positive vibes and new beginnings, To be honest, I kind of need it. This weekend had moments of anxiety and binge eating. During the business week, I did well, with eating well and mindfully, exercising, and reaching my water intake goals. As well as, maintaining a positive out look on the world around me and my interactions with people. But... Friday night I reverted back to my old ways. The anxiety was rising and my choices on how to deal with it were not the best. I took a step back these couple of days, and I know I have a long way to go, but I am not giving up. My goal is to find my triggers and work through them instead of using what I think are easy fixes. Like I said I am looking at today as a new beginning. A chance to do better, to be better.
Seven years ago today, I moved from my beautiful island home that I love so much 🌏❤️. At the time, I felt a relentless instinct to buy a ticket to a (literally) life changing show on the opposite side of the world. It turns out that everything lead there for a reason.
I am forever grateful to have discovered so early that intuition is absolutely everything. When you know, you know 🤗
For today’s quote I wanted to talk about my motivation status....
Some days, i don’t want to get up, like at all. And sometimes I don’t get the energy get my ass ready to head to the gym until 8pm! But it happens, I go and I cannot stress enough, there is NEVER a workout I regret doing, only the ones I regret not doing! 😄
Your only limit is really you!! You have the power to start this journey! If you’re waiting for a sign to start, this is it!!! Let’s get going ladies n gents ✨✨
My Motivation Monday: The Joy of Life is a story of my personal journey towards finding my own joy and well-being through fitness. This is me. A transformed women. A story of my five year journey. Through weight loss and fat loss, gaining physical strength, determination and grit I transformed my life. Through bodybuilding and the culmination of the past five years, I learned that I have power over my thoughts. I was able to defeat so many demons both physically and mentally with my own strength and resilience. Now, I see what I thought to be failures as lessons and strengths. I am a beautiful, strong, resilient, powerful, joyful woman. Learn. Grow. Evolve. Become. Joy. Love. Life.
1. An enlightened woman of strength, determination, and pure joy.
2. This is me at 205 lbs; tired, unhealthy, and full of pain.

🍫Choc Coconut Slice 🥥
Sorry this one took me a couple of weeks to post. Like i mentioned before, it does have a lot of ingredients and i was being lazy typing it out, but it is so worth the wait!
For the base
- 5 Medjool Dates, chopped
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/4 cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup runny nut butter, i used some cashew butter i had that needed using up but i think almond or peanut would be great in this!
Put all of the above in a saucepan and stir until melted and combined.
In a separate bowl mix together
- 1/2 Cup Almond Meal
- 1/4 Cup Buckwheat Flour
- Pinch Baking Powder
- 3 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
- 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 Cup Coconut
- 2 eggs
Add the melted mixture from the saucepan and stir to combine. Press into a square slice or brownie tin and bake for 20 mins on 180c
For the Choc Top Layer
- 1 Block of Lindt 75% Dark Choc
- 1 Heaped tsp Coconut Oil
- 2 Tbsp @mayversfood cacao super spread (this ingredient is worth the investment)
Wait for the base to cool, melt the topping ingredients in a saucepan and pour over base, sprinkle the top with coconut. ENJOY!😋

Hard to believe that two weeks from now the horses and I will be in Arizona about to set off on our ride. I've been obsessing over the weather for a few weeks now and these late Spring storms haven't been doing me any favors. There is so much snow in Utah. Which I expected up north, but they had some record amounts down south this year. Unfortuneately not much snow melting has been happening yet at the higher elevations because of the cold weather. My route goes through some of those high areas and I'll likely have to find some detours around the snow. I'm definitely a bit nervous about how much it will affect my ride, but am just going to have to adjust as we go. So keep your fingers crossed for us that we have warm weather in Utah over the next few weeks.
Seeing all the snowpack that is still kicking around this year has me feeling even more grateful for the conditions I had last year while on the CDT. The video shows part of the trail from Colorado's San Juan mountains in late June. Those mountains are going to look very different this year.
My amazing friend @greengoldandblues is trying to ride 2,000 miles of the CDT this year. She's come all the way from Australia, bought 2 horses, a truck, lots of gear, and borrowed a trailer all to tackle her dream of doing a long distance ride in the states. Right now she is in southern Wyoming where she plans to start her ride in the basin (where the mustang herds are 🤠) because that's about the only area that isn't buried under snow. Ironically I say that as Wyoming is experiencing snow flurries and storms for the rest of this week...
Regardless of the conditions, both @greengoldandblues and I are both going to just do our best out there on our individual rides. Every ride has its own unique challenges and this year it's going to be snow. If @greengoldandblues is still on the CDT when I finish up my summer adventures in September, I plan to fly out to her and help her for the remainder of her ride. If you are along the Continental Divide and can offer @greengoldandblues any assistance with resupplying, I know she would be incredibly grateful.
⚡How to Create Perfect Instagram Posts?
First of all, if you know me then you know this is not clickbait.
I get a lot of message about how to create posts that get likes on Instagram?
People saying that they have tried their best and it is not working.
I was there, I did the same, but I wasn’t doing it right.
This is my Instagram Recipe
Designers might refer to this as an "Instagrammers Case Study":
I tried posting a lot, tried a lot of ways to engage with my audience, after every post I studied all the likes, saves, new followers, also which hashtags performed better. (numbers are important. okay)
🧲 Since I wanted to keep all my fans satisfied I decided to go with 3 types of posts for 3 different types of fans:
1⃣.Articles (e.g. 8 Rules for Perfect Button Design)
I dedicate at least 5 hours on posts like this. New and Senior designers use these posts to learn or get motivated, this type of post when designed well, can be a "like/follower machine".
2⃣.Case Studies (e.g. Designing Booking Forms)
These posts are dedicated to people who want to hire me, designers can learn from this, future clients can find reasons why they should hire me.
3⃣.Personal Photo (e.g. Me working)
These posts don’t get so many likes, I still post them for a reason and pay as much attention to them as with the others. They help me stay connected to my fans. (Super important to keep you Instagram active)
❓What makes my Account different:
1. All my posts are designed using a different style each, more like magazine covers. You can easily spot my profile this way.
2. All Instagram accounts are going for simplicity and uniformity, I am going for everything.
