36 days left until I’m a sleep deprived nursing student AND I AM FEELING ALL THE EMOTIONS.
Making the decision to go back to school for an entirely different career was far from easy. I truly thought that my time to be in college was done and over with since I’ve already gotten my Bachelors degree once and who truly aspires to keep adding on those student loans?? Deciding to take a leap of faith and pursue my dream of becoming a nurse ultimately surpassed all my feelings of worry, doubt, and contemplation. Hell, I’ve heard stories and have been able to already meet people who are going back for this same program that are younger, older, have kids, grandkids, or don’t even have a healthcare background at all. But yet they are all doing the damn thing. So, here I am too, doing the damn thing that I am truly SO freaking excited about. If you see or hear me talking about this new chapter a lot, please bear with me because I’m sure there are going to be plentyyyy of times once the program actually starts that I’m over here like, “what am I doing, what’s my name, where am I?¿” 🙃
Moral of the story, GO AFTER YOUR DREAMS. I’m learning that it’s literally never too late to get going on what you can’t stop thinking or dreaming about.
This right here is why I am choosing to better myself. To be a happy, healthy wife and mom to these amazing people.
Will I have days that working out is the last thing on my mind?
Will I sometimes want to dive into a big chocolate cake?
DUH! Its cake.. I am not a perfect person, I am not a perfect wife or mother. But I will get up and show up, and never give up on trying to better myself.
Ahhh, good to be home. Woke up at home with my babies and my own coffee. 😍☕️ What an incredible trip! It always renews me. Reminds me why I not only love the oils, but why I share them with others. Already can’t wait to see so many of my favorite ladies again next summer!!
But for today, I’m thankful to be back home. 💕 Now for the laundry...
Give me all the coffee today because baby boy had me up most the night!
In his defence he’s finally cut his first tooth! It’s a good job we can’t remember how full on these things are from babyhood - he’s been so miserable with it bless him!
So two cups for me this morning then, although they weren’t as dreamy looking as this one I had in Toronto a few summers ago!
While I’m baking cookies for Andy’s bday today: Lia is biting the soft close tabs off my kitchen cabinets, James has pooped 3 times, Andy ducked out to go to the hardware store for doorknobs 🤨, and the damn woodpecker has returned so I keep running to the door thinking someone is knocking.
Life with 3 kids is forgetting you heated up your coffee 3 hours ago, thinking you put the mug in the dishwasher, and making a new cup that also got forgotten about and now needs reheating Bc the newborn needed help napping 😅😂🤣😃 #momlife#givemeallthecoffee@lucasmilbrandt
This week has been crazy busy. I need all the coffee! My son had a ton of appointments in Omaha but those are officially done and the kids and I can now relax a little. I had such a fun senior session this week with this beautiful girl, and tonight I have the pleasure of meeting and doing a photo shoot for a fellow nicu family! 😍
Y’all. This skinny coffee has been saving me! It gives me so much energy, keeps me from snacking allll day on stuff I shouldn’t be (breastfeeding will do that to you 😂), burns fat all day long, and it taste like a creamy cappuccino! There is just something about waking up early, finding a seat in your favorite couch spot, drinking a big cup of warm coffee, ++ making a list of your to-dos for the day/week ahead. Good Morning Peeps! Happy Thursday! In case you were wondering I'm still having a cup of coffee in the morning during my fast. Usually 1 or 2 shots of espresso with cinnamon and sometimes I'll froth up 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk to make a cappuccino keeping it at 20 calories and 0 carbs. Coffee fasting if there's such a thing is what I've been doing. Everyone fasts differently so please "keto police" don't come on here and say this breaks my fast because guess what, it works for me. 😁 I'm still droppin' dem lbs. 😊🌠💕🌈☕

Happy Monday everybody! ☀️ If you watch my stories you know that I am in the process of retraining Eli to put himself to sleep in his own bed. Now if your a mom who bed shares, I totally get that and you are superwoman! But I am not that kinda mom. I need my evening alone time and to share my bed with only my husband! 😅
The past few months have been rough since Eli forgot how to sleep and every night has been a battle. 😫 So we decided in order to alleviate some of his anxiety about sleep, that we would move him into Charlee’s room.
So far he has slept 2 nights in sisters room in his bed and last night was far easier than the first. I have hope that it will get easier and easier! 🤞🏻 Now if you’ve read all of this, you rock and please leave some words of advice on room-sharing, sleep training, and how to eliminate night wakings! 😳😂 #toddlerlife#momlife#givemeallthecoffee
